Not sports cars. Not perfect paint. The car you spend hours in every day.
For GTA moms whose family car takes a beating every week: a Butter-certified detailer comes to your driveway and resets the whole car.
Every car seat gets the Butter Smooth Process. The crumbs, the sticky cupholders, the salt in the mats. You don't even have to be home.

You know this car.
You cringe when the kids exit the car at school in the morning. A water bottle rolls out. Then a sock nobody will claim.
Then practice. Then groceries. Then another mom asks for a quick ride, and you're shovelling wrappers off the passenger seat, apologizing.
Finding time to thoroughly clean it? Impossible. And the one Saturday you manage it, it's trashed again by Tuesday. The kids do not care. That's life.
It's not that you don't care. You spend hours in this car every day, and you're the one who does everything else, too.
In a study of 6,000+ people (Canada included), the ones who paid to get chores done were happier with their lives.
The researchers called it "Buying time promotes happiness."* We call it permission. Feel free to show this to anyone who says you should just vacuum it yourself.

Here's why we started Butter.
I drove Uber across the GTA for six years, and more than once a parent told me their own car was way worse.
I wanted to build something big enough that one day my mom wouldn't have to work.
She's a Montessori-certified early childhood educator, and the parents at her work were too busy for their messy cars but wanted them done safely, without being there.
They didn't need a quick wash.
They needed a reset.
So we built one, car seats and all.
The hard part came when I couldn't do every car myself, so every detailer is now trained and checked on one written process.
It's a family business: my dad and my brother help me run it, for families across the GTA.
The goal is the moment you open the door and think, "Damn. This feels like my car again."

Every car on this page is a real family car we've reset.
"Having regular detailing taken care of makes life so much easier… The quality of the work has been great every time, too. I'm really happy with it."
"I should be able to keep up with this myself."
The seat's heavy and it's latched in, so what's under it just stays there. Here's a family Ford Explorer with 3 boys and a dog: under the car seat, before and after.
Before
After"…keep my car looking clean without having to think about it…"
"Mine's too far gone."
One of the hardest family cars we've reset: neglected and never cleaned in 2 years. Same seat, same angle.
Before
AfterWhat goes on your kid's car seat?
Every car seat gets the Butter Smooth Process, the same way every time.
We photograph how it's installed, then lift it out and get the crumbs out of every crease.
The harness is wiped by hand with a few drops of fragrance-free baby-bottle soap in warm water. The buckle gets plain warm water and a click test.
Then it goes back in place, unlatched, and you latch it yourself, so you know it's right.
Every cleaner we use carries an independent safety certification: EWG Verified, Green Seal or EPA Safer Choice.
The rest is plain water, plus diluted white vinegar for salt stains on the carpets. Want the full product list? Just ask.
Never in a Butter car: air fresheners, perfume, shine sprays, ozone, bleach, solvents.
"My mom, a Montessori-certified early childhood educator, went through every product we use." — Arsi
"Knowing they use child- and pet-friendly cleaning products was a big reason I felt comfortable booking. With kids and pets, that's something I pay attention to…"
And here's the family behind every Reset.
The day before, you get your detailer's first name, photo and a 30-minute start window.
Every detailer has passed a criminal record check, and every job is insured.
Every detailer is Butter-certified: trained on one written checklist and the Butter Smooth Process, and checked before their first car.
They're paid by the hour, not by the car, so nobody's rushing to the next driveway.
Every car gets photos at the same checkpoints, and a walk-through before you pay.
"…They showed up right when they said they would, got straight to work, and did a fantastic job. It's refreshing to deal with a company that actually respects your time…"
So here's exactly what you get.

| Your Saturday Back: the 4 hours you'd spend doing it yourself | Priceless |
| Total if you pieced it together |
And two things we don't charge for, because they're how you check us:
Full product list on request: every product we use, by name, texted to you the moment you ask.
The Butter Standard: your detailer's name and photo the day before, one written checklist, and photos on every job.
And the car seats? We photograph how each one is installed before it comes out. It goes back in place and you latch it yourself, so you know it's right.
Your Family Car Reset:
Spread over the ~90 days until it needs another one, that's about $3 a day.
Your Family Car Reset, with your friend's $25 off:
The $25 comes off at your walk-through. You don't pay until you've seen your car.
Want to keep it this way? Join the Family Car Club at your walk-through.
Every seasonal Reset after that is $229 instead of $269 (SUV). Between Resets, you can book a Keep-It-Reset whenever you like, from $119: car seats out, crumbs out, cupholders steamed. Add-ons are $39, and you keep the same detailer.
Pay per visit. No contract. Skip or cancel by text anytime. That's about $2.50 a day, roughly one coffee.
Every member gets the Backseat Survival Kit (a hanging car bin and seat-back kick mat, $35 value).
Our first 50 families are founding members: their first year in the Club is free, and their member prices stay locked for as long as they're members.
After the first 50, membership is $29 + HST a year, and founders start paying it in their second year. It pays for itself on your next Reset.
If you're hesitant because the price is on the higher side, that's fair. So here's what makes it safe to try:
"I'll be honest, I had some doubts about trying a newer detailing company, but those doubts disappeared after the first service…"
The Cupholder Guarantee
The cupholders are the first thing you'll check. So that's what we guarantee.
You don't pay until you've seen your car. In person, or by video walk-through if you're at work.
Find a crumb in a crevice, a sticky cupholder or anything we missed in the next 48 hours? Text us a photo and we'll come back and redo it. Free.
Still not right after that? You don't pay.
The On-Time Promise
The day before, you'll get a text with your detailer's first name, photo and a 30-minute start window.
If they're not in your driveway by the end of it, $25 comes off. If we ever cancel on the day, your rebooked Reset is $50 off.
One honest thing: some stains (dye, bleach, burns) don't come out, no matter who's cleaning. If we see one of those, we'll tell you before you pay, not after.
P.S. If you only read this far: a Butter-certified detailer comes to your driveway and resets the whole family car while you're at work.
Every car seat gets the Butter Smooth Process, plus the crumbs, the cupholders and the salt stains.
You don't pay until you've seen it, and if we missed anything, we come back free.
Our first 50 families get their first year in the Family Car Club free, with their member prices locked for as long as they stay.
